We are in search of a skilled professional to fill the role of Orthopaedic Imaging Technician. The selected candidate will be instrumental in managing and enhancing the MRI imaging services, collaborating closely with the MRI team to ensure safe and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and guide the technical staff to enhance the MRI service
  • Oversee daily MRI operations, including patient scheduling and staff management
  • Ensure that staff are adequately trained and proficient in line with Trust policies
  • Encourage ongoing improvement and quality in service delivery
  • Foster a culture of excellence and high performance among team members

Qualifications:

Education/Certifications

  • SOR accredited cannulation and management training.
  • Postgraduate qualification in MRI or equivalent (preferred)

Skills/Expertise

  • Exceptional management and leadership skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of MRI Physics
  • Previous experience in a similar role (preferred)

Experience/Knowledge

  • A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in MRI
