PPA Teacher Opportunity in Camden

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PPA Teacher to join our team at a leading independent special school in Camden. As a PPA Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of children with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

About the School

The school is a small, specialist institution that provides a unique and supportive environment for children aged 5-14. With a fully integrated NHS clinical team on site, the school offers a model of good practice that fits the Education, Health and Care Plan model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and assess work for pupils with SEMH
  • Work with teaching assistants to ensure support is both appropriate and effective
  • Contribute to the setting of targets for children
  • Work alongside other professionals in the wider support network
  • Liaise with parents and carers
Requirements
  • Full QTS
  • Previous experience teaching children/young learners with SEMH
  • Availability for 3 days/week
  • An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
