About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Children's University Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and supporting the Children's University programme across Doncaster and North Lincolnshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and support the Children's University programme, working closely with colleagues to implement wider outcomes for children.
  • Formulate successful funding bids and engage with local businesses to secure financial support for the programme.
  • Design and deliver extra-curricular clubs and activities that promote learning and development.
  • Liaise with schools to ensure the success of the Parent Ambassador project and promote the programme to parents and carers.
  • Market and promote Children's University activities to ensure high participation and engagement.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children, young people, and parents in an educational setting.
  • GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above).
  • Proven experience in working with stakeholders such as schools, businesses, and funders to secure funding and resources.
  • Demonstrated ability in marketing and business development to promote the programme and engage with local communities.
  • Skills in formulating funding bids and developing strategies for funding streams.
  • Ability to multi-task, show initiative, and work in a demanding environment.
  • Understanding of safeguarding issues related to children and young people.
