Clinical Career Development Fellowship

The University of Cambridge is seeking an outstanding postdoctoral clinician to join the Cambridge BHF Centre of Research Excellence as a Clinical Career Development Fellow. This fellowship is available for a period of up to two years and provides an opportunity for the successful candidate to develop their research skills and expertise in a multidisciplinary environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong record of research and its communication in a relevant subject. They will be expected to work independently as well as in active collaboration with multi-disciplinary partners to advance basic and translational research in cardiovascular science.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct high-quality research in cardiovascular science, with a focus on basic biomedical science or disciplines outside traditional biological science
  • Develop and implement research projects, including designing experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and interpreting results
  • Collaborate with other researchers and clinicians to advance research goals and objectives
  • Communicate research findings through publications, presentations, and other means
  • Participate in the development and implementation of research strategies and plans
Requirements

The successful candidate will have a strong record of research and its communication in a relevant subject. They will also have excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
