Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at North View, a 24-hour care and support service in the North East. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring that each person's needs are met.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring that all relevant information is recorded and shared with the team.
Essential Criteria
- Ability to demonstrate the core values of the Charity.
- NVQ2 in care (or willingness to attain).
- Ability to respond to guidance and direction.
- Experience of working with vulnerable adults.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Able to provide personal care.
- Maintain confidentiality, honesty, and reliability.
- Interested, motivated, and committed.
