As an Assistant Buyer within the Mobile team, you'll be at the heart of a fast-paced commercial team. Your role will be responsible for managing the range at SKU level and working closely with the Buyer, Senior Buyer, Merchandising, Online and GTM teams to drive sales and profitability of the category.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining strong supplier relationships in line with the category strategy
  • Monitoring the competition to ensure competitive pricing
  • Analysing trading performance and providing insights to drive business growth
  • Supporting the Buyer and Senior Buyer in negotiating product ranges, including cost pricing, additional terms, exclusivity, distribution, and stock availability
  • Pricing the product range in line with agreed category CPI targets

You'll need:

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and numerical skills with good judgment
  • Commercial awareness and a deep understanding of customer needs
  • A Marketing, Merchandising, Retail, or Business degree
  • Excellent Excel and Microsoft Suite skills
