Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HGV Driver to join our team at J.J Freight and Logistics Limited. As an HGV Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and materials to and from our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transportation: Drive company vehicles to transport goods and materials to and from clients.
  • Logistics: Plan and coordinate routes to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients by ensuring prompt and reliable delivery of goods.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure that company vehicles are clean, secure, and well-maintained.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Current and clean HGV driving license, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC), and Digital Tachograph/Smart Card.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience as an HGV Driver.
  • Skills: Good communication skills, ability to work independently, and a positive attitude.
  • Personal Qualities: Reliable, punctual, and able to work well under pressure.
