About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Greene King. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the business, supporting the General Manager in leading the team and driving sales and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the business, including leading the team in their absence.
  • Engage and inspire team members, setting standards and expectations to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Support the General Manager to maximise sales opportunities, delivering against agreed targets and profit and loss accounts.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a large food-focused pub or restaurant.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of the business.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
