Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Night Site Manager to join our team at MCG Construction. As a Night Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing sub-contractors on site to work safely and economically by co-ordinating all trades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Sub-Contractors: Co-ordinate all trades to work safely and economically.
- Implement Health and Safety Requirements: Ensure compliance with H & S plan and implement all statutory, regulatory, and company requirements for managing Health and Safety.
- Implement Environmental and Waste Management Requirements: Ensure compliance with project Environmental and Waste Management Plans and implement all statutory, regulatory, and company requirements for environmental and waste management.
- Fulfil H&S Accountabilities: Identify and fulfil H&S accountabilities as identified on the project compliance checklist.
- Implement Quality Management Arrangements: Put in place quality management arrangements identified within the Project Quality Plan for those packages or trades you are accountable for.
- Chair and Minute Sub-Contractor Meetings: Chair and minute sub-contractor meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor and Understand Position Against Contract Programme: Monitor and understand position against contract programme and discuss and agree recovery programmes with the Project Manager.
- Agree Sub-Contractor's Programmes: Agree sub-contractor's long and short-term programmes and monitor performance against these programmes.
- Track Record of Successful Delivery: Have a track record of successful delivery of projects circa £250k in value.
- Previous Experience: Have previous experience working on similar banking/retail projects.
- Excellent Site Management Skills: Possess excellent site management skills.
- Ability to Read and Interpret Construction Drawings: Have the ability to read and accurately interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
Qualifications:
- CSCS Card: Hold a valid CSCS Card.
- SMSTS: Hold a valid SMSTS certificate.
- First Aid: Hold a valid First Aid certificate.
- Duty to Manage Asbestos: Have completed Duty to Manage Asbestos training (this can be completed prior to start).
- Scaffold Management and Inspection: Have experience in scaffold management and inspection (advantageous).
- Temporary Works Management: Have experience in temporary works management (advantageous).
About MCG Construction:
MCG Construction have an agreement to provide all White Collar contract candidates for Wates Smartspace.
