About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at Strata Construction Consulting UK Ltd. As a key member of our civil engineering consultancy, you will be responsible for leading the technical delivery of civil engineering services to our clients.

Your expertise in drainage, SuDS, flood risk, highways, streetscape, earthworks, and utilities will be essential in supporting our clients through all stages of the project life cycle, from feasibility and concept design to planning, detailed design, and construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day technical delivery of civil engineering consultancy services
  • Bring expertise in drainage, SuDS, flood risk, highways, streetscape, earthworks, and utilities to various projects
  • Be active on multiple project/client accounts at any given time
  • Support a team of technical staff and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Involvement in client engagement, stakeholder management, design team collaboration, and project management
  • Ensure projects are delivered within budget, on programme, and to the required quality for technical and legal compliance

  • Confidence and ability with team and project management
  • Ambitious, committed, and with integrity
  • Good experience of structural analysis and design software
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy of own work and that of others
  • Ability to supervise and develop a team while working as part of a wider team
  • Be proactive without supervision
  • Client-focused approach with good interpersonal and communication skills
