About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team, responsible for the provisioning of infrastructure assets and coordination of provisioning works across our global datacentres.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, with demonstrable experience working within infrastructure environments, including Windows and Linux server operating systems. They will also possess effective time management, organisation and work prioritisation skills to meet deadlines, while maintaining excellent attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities

  • Completing and validating server builds to ensure they conform to business and security standards.
  • Coordinating server builds process, ensuring delivery timeframes are maintained.
  • Identifying areas for continuous improvement through monitoring, automation and process refinement.
  • Staying abreast of latest technologies and making recommendations for implementation.
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Identifying areas of improvement and actively working to resolve them.

Requirements

  • Technical background working within infrastructure environments.
  • Demonstrable experience with Windows and Linux server operating systems.
  • Base scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell or Python.
  • Effective time management, organisation and work prioritisation skills to meet deadlines.
  • Logical approach to solving problems under pressure and an active communicator on technical issues.
  • Ability to manage and react quickly in a high-pressure environment.
  • Process-oriented with excellent scheduling skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple streams of activity, whilst shifting focus regularly.
