GKN Aerospace is a global leader in the aerospace industry, and we're looking for a highly skilled NDT Engineer to join our team. As a Level 3 NDT Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.
About the Role
As a Senior NDT Engineer, you'll be responsible for approving and supervising PFD Level 2's and trainees, reviewing and approving procedures, instructions, and techniques, and performing tests on various types of aircraft and non-aircraft materials, components, and structures. You'll also be responsible for auditing NDT suppliers, reporting on NDT matters, and supervising and training all levels of NDT resource.
What You'll Bring
To be successful in this role, you'll need to be qualified to EN 4179 Level 3 in PFD and have knowledge of material specifications and their associated testing criteria. You'll also need to be able to produce concise reports and be verbally proficient in discussing NDT and related matters with all levels of staff.
