Job Description

Highfield Professional Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Technical Engineering Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, innovative, and cost-effective design solutions that meet customer needs across Data Centre locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Requirements:
    • Capture customer needs via written specifications, RFPs, and meetings.
    • Collaborate with teams to develop compliant solutions and accurate sales proposal documentation.
  • Technical Support:
    • Create and amend layout or schematic drawings for proposals.
    • Assist with quotes and solutions for customer fit-outs or upgrades.
    • Present solutions alongside the Sales team and support customer site tours.
    • Manage the handover of relevant documentation pre- and post-sales.
  • Project Development:
    • Develop sales enablement materials for Data Centres, including design concepts and future growth plans.
    • Maintain and update RFP documentation to support sales opportunities.
    • Provide input on new designs and solutions to align with customer needs and market demands.
Qualifications:
  • Strong technical background with experience in customer solutions or Data Centre design.
  • Familiarity with industry standards (ISO, EN50600, Uptime Institute).
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Master's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.
  • MEP experience is key.
