Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse or Pharmacist Prescriber to join our team at Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality substance use treatment and recovery services to individuals across Lincolnshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert prescribing services for opiate substitute treatment, benzodiazepine reductions, alcohol and opiate detoxifications, and relapse prevention medications.
  • Conduct healthcare assessments, administer detoxification medication, and provide Blood Borne Virus screening and vaccinations.
  • Work closely with mental health, physical health, and social care services to ensure comprehensive care for our clients.
  • Attend local prescribers meetings, one-to-one clinical supervision, and national prescriber/clinician meetings to stay up-to-date with best practices and network with colleagues.
Requirements
  • Registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council or a qualified Pharmacist with independent prescribing qualifications.
  • Confident in managing all aspects of prescribing for opiates and managing alcohol detoxifications.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to develop creative and flexible support packages tailored to individual needs.
  • Empathetic and patient, with a genuine interest in helping people with complex issues.
