London, United Kingdom Adecco Full time

Position Title: Strategic Communications Lead

Location: London

Contract Duration: 13 months

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Compensation: £93,995 annually

Incentive Structure: Company bonus (paid yearly)

Are you an adept communicator with a strong enthusiasm for crafting compelling narratives and promoting online safety? Our client, a prominent entity in the communications sector, is in search of a skilled Strategic Communications Lead to join their organization for a 13-month fixed-term engagement. This role presents a unique opportunity to significantly influence content governance, media relations, and public outreach.

As the Strategic Communications Lead, you will be instrumental in safeguarding and enhancing our client's image within the rapidly changing digital environment. Your responsibilities will include formulating strategic communication initiatives aimed at addressing content safety, misinformation, and electoral integrity, collaborating with various teams to ensure successful execution. Furthermore, you will lead proactive campaigns focused on the online safety of young individuals, partnering with global affairs and public policy divisions to develop engaging communication resources.

Key responsibilities will encompass managing media relations concerning content governance, such as compliance with the EU Digital Services Act, generating transparency reports, and facilitating adherence to audit protocols and enforcement measures. You will also collaborate with regional teams to create comprehensive strategic plans that bolster our client's standing in the domain of online safety. Additionally, you will have the chance to enhance awareness of the Safety Engineering Centre and assist regional leadership in engaging with media and public forums.

To excel in this position, you should possess substantial experience in communications roles along with a relevant degree or equivalent qualifications. Experience in electoral politics or governmental affairs would be advantageous. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English are essential, and familiarity with contemporary social media platforms such as TikTok and YouTube is highly valued.

In this hybrid work setting, you will enjoy the flexibility of remote and in-office work during standard business hours. Our client provides a competitive salary along with an annual bonus structure.

If you are prepared to embrace this rewarding opportunity and contribute to the communications landscape, we encourage you to consider this role.
