Overview of the Role:

We are seeking a proficient Multi-Skilled Tradesperson with expertise in plumbing, carpentry, tiling, and painting to enhance our esteemed Cooplands Maintenance team. This position is field-based, allowing you to work autonomously or collaboratively within a small team, delivering maintenance and repair services across numerous retail locations.

This role is ideal for a self-driven and customer-oriented individual with a solid background in plumbing and related trades such as painting and decorating. You will be committed to ensuring tasks are completed efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

This is a full-time role, operating Monday to Friday. Given the nature of the position, candidates must be prepared to be on call during occasional weekends to address urgent maintenance issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct plumbing and general maintenance repairs
  • Identify and resolve issues effectively
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Ensure all tasks are performed to a high standard, adhering to safety regulations
  • Utilize your initiative and expertise to make informed decisions
  • Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and legal obligations
  • Manage your own schedule efficiently
  • Organize and prioritize tasks, tracking progress to completion
  • Strategically plan work routes to minimize travel time and costs

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Experience in plumbing and multi-trade maintenance
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent planning and organizational abilities
  • Ability to respond to urgent maintenance needs
  • Flexibility in working hours, including potential weekend call-outs
  • Valid UK driving license
