Field IT Technician

Location: Hessle

Salary: £25,000 to £35,000

Principal IT is collaborating with a reputable organization based in Hessle that is experiencing significant growth. They are seeking a dedicated Field IT Technician to join their team on a permanent basis. This organization is committed to helping clients achieve their business objectives through innovative and effective technology solutions.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will be adaptable and ready to tackle a variety of challenges. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing both remote and on-site maintenance for customer infrastructure.
  • Collaborating closely with the IT support desk to relay site updates, planned maintenance, and support inquiries.
  • Installing hardware such as laptops, printers, PCs, monitors, and servers.
  • Staying informed about the latest technologies and products.
Essential Skills
  • A valid UK driving license is required.
  • A genuine interest in the IT sector and a strong desire to learn.
  • Experience in a comparable IT support position is essential.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of IT products, including Microsoft Windows Server, core infrastructure server hardware, virtualization, and Exchange/Office 365.

In this position, you will be provided with a company van and a fuel card.
