About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Motor Vehicle teacher to join our team at Leeds City College. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our students in the field of Motor Vehicle technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Motor Vehicle courses to students across all levels, including level 1 to L3 and apprenticeships.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging lessons, ensuring students gain the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their chosen careers.
  • Contribute to the development of aspirational teaching, learning, and assessment practices.
  • Keep accurate records of student progress and provide regular feedback.
About You
  • You will hold a Motor Vehicle qualification or equivalent, and have a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
  • You must be a qualified teacher or be willing to work towards a teaching qualification.
  • You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • You will be a team player with a flexible approach to working hours, including some evening work.
