Salary starting at £28,000+ DOE plus overtime, on-call & benefits

Metro Rod has been a leading provider of drainage solutions for over 40 years.

Founded in 1983, Metro Rod is a prominent service provider of drain clearance and maintenance services delivered on a largely reactive basis. The services are provided by over 40 franchisees with geographical coverage across most of the UK, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.

This is a full-time vacancy and will involve you in providing a range of emergency and contracted services to both commercial and domestic clients. The successful candidate will be provided with a company van and fuel card.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operation of High-Pressure Water Jetting Equipment in line with rigorous safety standards
  • Carrying out surveys
  • Communicate effectively with high-profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is always provided
  • Being part of an on-call rota to help service our clients 24/7 / 365 days a year

Requirements:

  • High pressure water jetting and CCTV Surveying with experience in commercial drainage beneficial but not essential as full training provided for the right candidate
  • Confined space entry experience
  • CSCS tickets
  • Have a positive, flexible, can-do attitude
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Door to door overtime
  • Company van and fuel card
  • Branded uniform
  • Ongoing Health & Safety and new skills training
