  • Assist in multi-channel analyses.
  • Update the WSSI and aid in departmental forecasting.
  • Provide the merchandiser with thorough analysis and preparation for all significant meetings, including approvals and strategic discussions.
  • Support the merchandising team in developing seasonal sales and purchasing plans that maximize commercial potential.
  • Assist the merchandiser in monitoring stock on continuity lines to optimize sales opportunities.
  • Plan onboarding for new team members within the merchandising department.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members.

Qualifications for Success as an Assistant Merchandiser:

  • Demonstrated experience in multi-product environments.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Ability to recognize key trends and emerging opportunities aligned with customer profiles.
  • Experience in team management and supporting approvals.
  • Capacity to meet tight deadlines and perform well under pressure.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
