As a key member of our field service team, you will be responsible for carrying out fault diagnostics on modern diesel engines, downloading data, and ensuring the performance and availability of diesel engines in the rolling stock.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out fault diagnostics on diesel engines and associated electrical control technology
- Download data and interpret results to identify likely faults
- Provide remote diagnostic support to customers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues
- Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on diesel engines
- Minimum NVQ3 qualification in mechanical and electrical maintenance
- Proven experience in fault diagnostics and remote diagnostics
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driving license and ability to travel extensively
- Competitive salary of £37,000 per annum
- Overtime available
