Specialist Practice Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Practice Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team at Military Medical Personnel. As a Specialist Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical centres, dental centres, and rehabilitation units.
About the Role- Deliver a professional and personal service to patients, working collaboratively with military personnel and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide expert clinical care, including immunisation, venepuncture, travel health, and minor injuries and illnesses.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures, ensuring best practice and patient safety.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and research.
- Registered Nurse (Adult) Level 1 with Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration and a valid, in-date Personal Identification Number (PIN).
- Current, valid personal medical indemnity insurance.
- Minimum of two years post-registration experience in PHC practice.
- Minimum of one year's post-registration experience in a Band 6 or higher grade in a Primary Healthcare (PHC) setting within the last three years.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Anaphylaxis, Automated External Defibrillator (AED), Infection Prevention and Control (IPC), and Safeguarding Children and Young People and Vulnerable Adults Level 2 training.
