About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Forklift Engineering Team Leader to join our dedicated service team at Kemp Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our engineering team and ensuring the highest standards of health and safety are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers to ensure the delivery of excellent service to our customers.
  • Develop and implement health and safety initiatives to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct site risk assessments and ensure all necessary training is completed.
  • Manage engineer performance, including performance management, coaching, and development.
  • Ensure all engineering work is completed to a high standard and to the agreed deadline.
  • Manage and maintain 5S standards and ensure all necessary audits are completed.
Requirements
  • Good levels of man management skills and the ability to work in a team.
  • A good standard of communication skills and the ability to develop the potential of staff.
  • Comfortable in customer-facing situations and able to provide excellent customer service.
  • Good levels of numeracy and literacy.
  • Qualified maintenance engineer (NVQ level 3/equivalent) in a relevant discipline or industry experience.
  • Good knowledge of company IT systems and the ability to provide first-level support.
  • Conflict management skills and the ability to conduct thorough examinations.
