Job Title: Engineering Team Leader - Nights

Type: Full-time, Permanent

Working Hours: Monday evening to Saturday morning, 10pm to 6am

Overtime: 1

Our client, a leading FMCG manufacturer in West Bromwich, is seeking an experienced Engineering Team Leader to oversee safety, quality, and output inspections on night shifts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and be skilled in creating and implementing health and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities, machinery, and processes to identify potential risks and implement measures to mitigate them.
  • Develop and maintain efficient maintenance planning to minimize downtime.
  • Establish and enforce quality standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and optimize production.

Requirements:

  • Engineering qualifications or apprenticeship
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
