About the Role
The Shift Leader is a key member of the restaurant team, responsible for ensuring seamless operations during their assigned shifts. Reporting to the Restaurant General Manager, they are expected to run great shifts in a self-sufficient manner, seeking help from the team when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide regular feedback to the Restaurant General Manager on the performance of Team Members
- Actively participate in the training of Team Members
- Ensure that all Team Members complete their Shift Excellence tasks for their assigned position(s)
- Ensure food safety, quality, and accuracy of orders
- Resolve customer complaints quickly while maintaining positive customer relations
- Assist profit & Loss management by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory and
- Assist the Restaurant General Manager with facility maintenance and ensure health and safety standards are followed at all times
