Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the FP&A team during peak periods, such as month-end and budgeting cycles, to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Support the commercial team with various reporting needs, including business plans and wholesale reports, to inform strategic decisions.
  • Conduct weekly sales reporting, analyze variances, and provide clear explanations to stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update reporting dashboards and tools to ensure accurate, timely data is available for internal stakeholders, aiding in data-driven decision-making.
  • Respond to ad-hoc commercial requests from the FP&A team, demonstrating a proactive and flexible approach.
  • Provide accurate insights and recommendations for improvement to management, leveraging your analytical skills and business acumen.

Essential Requirements:

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to additional responsibilities, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, ensuring high-quality financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present financial information to various stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, with experience working with multiple currencies.
  • Proactive approach and strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and adhere to established processes, demonstrating a high level of professionalism.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Navision/Business Central, with a strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
  • Fully qualified in ACA, CIMA, or ACCA, with a solid foundation in financial accounting and analysis.
  • Background in the luxury sector or wholesale, with a deep understanding of the industry and its challenges.
