About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EHS Advisor to join our team at Kirby Group Engineering. As an EHS Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, clients, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance and support to project teams on EHS matters, including risk assessments, hazard identification, and control measures.
  • Develop and implement EHS plans, procedures, and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure that corrective actions are taken.
  • Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and workers to develop and implement training programs to enhance EHS awareness and knowledge.
  • Investigate incidents and near-miss events to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Prepare and submit regular EHS reports to management, including KPIs, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in EHS management, preferably in a construction or engineering environment.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
