Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our team at Walker Dendle Technical Limited. As a key member of our Birmingham office, you will be responsible for leading and managing large-scale new-build projects, working closely with top global Architects and clients in the commercial, residential, leisure, education, and mixed-use sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage structural design projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to develop and implement project plans.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and identify potential issues.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure efficient use of time and materials.

Requirements

  • Graduate membership of IStructE and/or ICE.
  • Proven experience in structural design and project management, with a strong track record of delivering large-scale projects.
  • Excellent technical skills, with a deep understanding of structural design principles and practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, architects, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
