Fawkes & Reece is a leading Tier 1 Main contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-profile projects. We are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team on a prestigious £70 million project.
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to prepare detailed cost estimates and financial reports, build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, and negotiate final accounts. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management and experience in industrial and ground work (deep earthworks).
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and financial reports to ensure accurate project costs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.
- Negotiate final accounts to ensure fair and timely payment.
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or comparable qualification.
- Industrial and ground work (deep earthworks) experience.
- Excellent IT skills across Microsoft suites.
