Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Risk Underwriter to join our team at CHUBB. As a Risk Underwriter, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and profitability of our Terrorism and Political Violence business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Underwrite existing renewal accounts and solve broker inquiries and underwriting tasks.
  • Attend renewal meetings, broker training, and general business development activities to support the continued growth of the product line.
  • Work closely with business development managers to assist with broker inquiries and developing new opportunities and relationships.
  • Collaborate with underwriters in other lines of business across the UK&I to maximize cross-sell opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Experience in underwriting Terrorism and Political Violence.
  • Experience or developing experience in business development.
  • Adaptable and resilient to changes in market conditions/business requirements.
  • Strong team player and ability to build strong relationships quickly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • ACII preferred, though not essential.
  • A Levels or higher.
