About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Drama Teacher to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Drama Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding drama education to students aged 11 to 16.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality drama lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Encourage students to develop their acting skills, express themselves confidently, and explore their artistic potential.
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes teamwork, mutual respect, and a passion for drama.
- Support students in their preparation for performances, auditions, and exams, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with relevant experience teaching Drama at secondary level.
- A passion for drama education and a strong understanding of the national curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate students.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Experience in directing and organising school productions would be advantageous.
