Job Summary

GenScript Europe is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our team. As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and warehouse operations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Shipment Monitoring
    • Track and monitor the status of shipments, both inbound and outbound, to ensure timely delivery.
    • Communicate with carriers and internal stakeholders to address any shipment-related issues or delays.
  • System Receiving
    • Utilize computer systems and software to process incoming shipments, update shipment monitoring records, and generate necessary documentation.
    • Ensure accurate and timely recording of received goods.
  • System Packing
    • Fully grasp Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to perform packing tasks with daily job lists in shipping systems.
    • Process necessary paperwork and documentation.
  • Physical Packing
    • Properly package and prepare goods for shipment, following established guidelines and procedures.
    • Engage in physical activities to handle, sort, and organize goods within the warehouse or packing area.
  • Logistics Invoices Handling
    • Submit logistics invoices for timely payment processing.
    • Packing materials maintenance and purchasing.
  • Packing Room Environment Maintenance
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the packing room.
    • Follow proper safety protocols, dispose of packaging materials appropriately, and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
  • Task Assignment
    • Carry out tasks and assignments as delegated by the supervisor.
    • Adapt to changing priorities, work collaboratively with team members, and provide support in other areas of logistics operations as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (additional relevant certifications or training in logistics or supply chain management is a plus).
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English.
  • Prior experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or related fields is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately handle and record inventory data.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software for inventory management and tracking.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift and move packages of varying sizes and weights, able to lift 10KG.
  • This role requires the candidate to work in the office - no remote working.
  • Only applicants based near the Oxford area and able to commute to work with the right to work in the UK will be considered.
  • We do not offer visa sponsorships, applicants should already be in position to accept a job in the UK.
