Lead Counselling Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality psychological services to adults with learning disabilities.
Main Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of psychological services for adults with learning disabilities, ensuring a high standard of care and treatment.
- Collaborate with community and inpatient teams to provide specialist psychological assessments and treatment plans.
- Supervise and train junior staff members, promoting their professional development and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
- Contribute to the development of trauma-informed and responsive services, aligning with the Trust's objectives.
- Provide training and consultation to multidisciplinary teams and external agencies, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.
- Doctoral-level training in clinical psychology or Counselling Psychology, with HCPC registration and membership of a professional clinical body.
- Proven experience in working with adults with learning disabilities, with a strong understanding of psychological theories and therapies.
- Excellent leadership and change management skills, with the ability to identify and implement mechanisms of clinical governance.
- Ability to travel across sites and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
