Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Lamb Weston Meijer. As a Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance in the electromechanical area, ensuring tasks are carried out swiftly and conform with required specifications, complying with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out small projects and identify common electrical faults.
- Read and work from circuit diagrams, and interrogate the SCADA system.
- Present an accurate assessment of the issue to the shift manager and any on-shift colleagues who require that information while carrying out the required repairs.
- Accompany contractors and assist external employees deployed from an outside company.
- Carry out PPM inspection rounds, assessing the state of equipment based on checklists and own insight, noting findings and discussing measures to be taken with the shift manager or engineering supervisor.
- Carry out corrective maintenance repairs on a timely basis, and perform fault finding and RCA.
- Register all activities taken in the automated maintenance system (SAP), recording hours worked and details of tasks carried out on the SAP system.
- Follow all safety procedures, including LOTO (log off/tag out).
Requirements:
- A recognised engineering qualification, City & Guilds or HNC equivalent.
- Lamb Weston chemical training, H+S, GMP and food safety desirable.
- 3+ years maintenance engineering experience within an automated manufacturing operation.
- 2-3 years' manufacturing experience.
- SAP/SCADA experience.
