Electrical Maintenance Role

Pioneer Selection Careers is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a leading manufacturing plant in Cambridgeshire. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems in a fully automated plant. The successful candidate will have a strong background in industrial engineering and electrical maintenance, with a focus on electrical skills such as motors, sensors, relays, drives, and PLC fault finding and basic modifications.

The ideal candidate will have a formal electrical engineering qualification and experience in mechanical maintenance. They will also have a bias towards electrical skills and be multi-skilled, with the ability to work on a variety of electrical and mechanical systems.

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will benefit from a bespoke training program, providing continuous upgrade on skills, and a pension scheme. This is a permanent nights role, working 4 on 4 off nights only.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair electrical systems in a fully automated plant
  • Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks, with a focus on electrical skills
  • Work on a variety of electrical and mechanical systems, including motors, sensors, relays, drives, and PLC
  • Conduct fault finding and basic modifications to electrical systems
  • Participate in a bespoke training program to continuously upgrade skills
Requirements:
  • Formal electrical engineering qualification
