Job Summary: We are seeking a part-time nanny to provide high-quality childcare for a family in Thorpe Bay, Essex.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe and engaging childcare for two children, aged 8 and 11, on a part-time basis (4 days per week, 2pm-7pm).
  • Collect children from school and transport them to after-school activities.
  • Assist with homework and practice for clubs/music.
  • Prepare snacks and meals for the children.
  • Do laundry for the children and maintain a tidy living environment.
  • Monitor screen time and ensure the children engage in creative activities.
  • Drive the children to activities and maintain a safe and organized vehicle.

Requirements:

  • Experience in childcare and a genuine interest in working with children.
  • Ability to create a warm and stimulating environment for the children.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the family's needs.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to drive and maintain a safe vehicle.

Working Conditions:

  • Part-time position (4 days per week, 2pm-7pm).
  • Live-out position, with mileage paid for driving to and from activities.

Compensation:

  • Excellent hourly rate of £18 gross per hour.
