Part-Time PPA Teacher for SEN School

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join our team as a Part-Time PPA Teacher for a SEN school in Islington. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching students with Autism, MLD/SLD, and SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach a range of classes in an SEN setting
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of students with diverse learning abilities
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to ensure a smooth and effective learning environment
  • Provide support and guidance to students with complex needs

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with Autism, MLD/SLD, and SEMH needs
  • Strong knowledge of TEACCH, PECS, Makaton, and Team Teach methodologies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
