Part-Time PPA Teacher - SEN School - Islington

A top-class specialist SEN school in central London is seeking a dedicated Teacher for a PPA role. The students in the school are Autistic, with ages ranging from 4-11 years old. The ideal candidate will have 2 years' experience working with ASD students and a passion for tackling different scenarios in this well-established school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching a range of classes in an SEN setting
  • Working with students with Autism, MLD/SLD & SEMH needs
  • Primary Key Stages
  • Small class sizes and friendly staff
  • Part-Time, 3-4 days per week
Requirements:
  • 2 years' experience of working with ASD students
  • Passion for tackling different scenarios in an SEN school
  • TEACCH, PECS, Makaton and Team Teach skills highly sought

The school is a calm, friendly and uplifting place to work where staff work hard but also enjoy a laugh. The Headteacher and SLT are supportive and ensure great training is in place at least once every half term.
