SEN Teacher (Primary / Part Time) Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Teacher (Primary / Part Time) to join our team at an outstanding primary school in Hackney. The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting pupils with Autism and a drive to make a positive impact in the lives of our students.

The school has a specialist SEN unit on site and a small class size, allowing for personalized support and attention to each child's needs. As an SEN Teacher (Primary / Part Time), you will work closely with the Assistant Headteachers and SENCO to develop and implement tailored support plans for our pupils.

This is a part-time position, with a flexible schedule to accommodate your needs. The school is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment, with plenty of opportunities for professional development and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with Autism in a mainstream primary school setting
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Work collaboratively with the SENCO and Assistant Headteachers
  • Provide small group and one-to-one interventions

Requirements:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status
  • Primary teaching experience with a focus on SEN and Autism
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
