Job Opportunity
We are seeking a full-time Youth Support Worker to join our Norfolk youth team for Prospects, part of Shaw Trust Youth. The role is based in Kings Lynn and West Norfolk, supporting young people aged 14-18 who are at risk of statutory intervention.
About the Role
As a Youth Support Worker, you will have autonomy and flexibility to provide the right support to young people and help them make sustainable progress. You will be an integral member of the Youth Early Support Service, working in schools and the community to make a difference for young people and help them realise their potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Relevant professional qualification in Youth Work or a related field
- Significant experience of working directly with young people aged 13-19 in formal or informal settings, involving assessment of needs and implementation of interventions to overcome barriers
- Experience of using a range of approaches to engage, establish, and maintain relationships with young people
