As a dedicated and proficient Chartered Surveyor, you will be responsible for executing project work and providing professional services across a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing specifications, managing tender processes, and supervising construction projects on-site.
- Producing project drawings utilizing AutoCAD software.
- Managing planning and Building Regulation submissions.
- Conducting detailed surveys of land and structures.
- Overseeing new construction projects on behalf of stakeholders.
- Creating feasibility studies and preliminary designs for various building types.
- Establishing Planned Preventative Maintenance Schedules.
- Negotiating and drafting schedules of dilapidations.
Requirements:
- A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
- Chartered status (MRICS) is preferred.
- Proven experience in both residential and commercial environments.
- Comprehensive understanding of building regulations, health and safety protocols, and construction methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with surveying software and tools.
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
- Possession of a valid driving license and readiness to travel as necessary.
