Key Responsibilities
  • Production Scheduling: Plan and prepare production schedules for K-Winch assembly, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution.
  • Master Schedule Management: Develop and maintain master schedules to optimize production sequencing and lead times, aligning with customer forecasted schedules.
  • Resource Planning: Analyze production specifications and construction data to determine material, tool, and human resource requirements, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Sequence Planning: Plan the sequence of fabrication, machining, and assembly for K-Winch products, minimizing delays and maximizing productivity.
  • Expediting Operations: Expedite operations to avoid delays and adjust schedules as needed to meet unforeseen conditions, ensuring timely delivery of products.
  • Reporting: Prepare production reports and maintain accurate records for accounting, reporting, and internal control systems, providing insights for process improvements.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate project activities, including producing project packets, shop packets, pick lists, production schedules, manufacturing orders, and purchasing requisitions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Customer and Sales Liaison: Collaborate with the sales team on delivery and availability issues related to fulfilling customer orders, providing input on inventory strategies to meet customer demands.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate activities within adjoining teams to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, supporting customer requirements and expectations.
  • Capacity Planning: Maintain and review capacity planning, highlighting overcapacity situations at the earliest opportunity to optimize resource allocation.
