Job Title: Transport Coordinator

Titan Freight Recruitment is excited to be working alongside a freight forwarder client who is looking for an experienced Transport Coordinator based in Aberdeen.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Transport Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services, including managing freight movements, coordinating with warehouses, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer competitive pricing and negotiate with clients to secure business.
  • Process and follow through on jobs awarded to completion, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Billing clients according to working SOPs and maintaining accurate records.
  • Completing Pre-Alerts and advising Customs Clearance instructions to ensure seamless clearance.
  • Liaising with the warehouse regarding incoming and outgoing freight, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Booking Ferry Spaces and Port base, ensuring efficient and cost-effective transportation.
  • Updating customers on progress and providing excellent customer service.
  • Load planning for Norway and European Trailer, ensuring optimal transportation routes and schedules.
Requirements:
