Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced part-time groom to join our team at Yard and Groom. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily care and management of three retired polo ponies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Turn out the horses and ensure they are properly fed and watered
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the stables, including mucking out and cleaning tack
  • Provide regular grooming and exercise for the ponies
  • Assist with stable management tasks, including ordering supplies and maintaining equipment
Requirements:
  • First-Aid certification
  • Equine First-Aid training
  • Sole Charge experience
  • Ability to exercise and handle horses
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with polo ponies
  • Knowledge of stable management and horse care
