Job Title: Super Groom for Super Ponies

We are seeking a trustworthy and experienced part-time groom to join our team at Yard and Groom. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horse care and be able to provide gentle exercise and stable management for three retired polo ponies.

Responsibilities:
  • Turn out the horses and put on rugs when needed
  • Muck out the stables, groom, feed, and clean tack
  • Provide gentle exercise, including leading and riding the horses
  • Perform basic cleaning tasks to keep the stables area tidy
Requirements:
  • Experience working with horses is essential
  • Confidence to move and handle the horses
  • First-Aid and Equine First-Aid certification
  • Sole Charge experience
  • Exercising and Hacking skills
Benefits:

This is a relaxed and rewarding role, suitable for a semi-retired groom. The horses are not competing, and the stable is a peaceful environment.
