Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Swim Centre Manager to join our team at GLL. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our swimming programmes and providing high-quality customer service to our members and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to centre teams to ensure the smooth running of lessons and high-quality customer service.
- Oversee and impact lesson delivery and quality, ensuring that our swimming programmes meet the highest standards.
- Deal with customer queries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Oversee the school swimming programme and pupil attainment, working closely with our centre teams to ensure that our programmes are meeting the needs of our customers.
- Engage in community agendas, working with local stakeholders to promote our swimming programmes and services.
- Support the development of our centre teams, providing training and development opportunities to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality swimming programmes.
- Work closely with our marketing team to promote our swimming programmes and services, ensuring that our marketing efforts are aligned with our business objectives.
Requirements:
- Hold a Level 2 Certificate in Teaching Swimming (STA or Swim England/Swim Wales/Swim Scotland/Swim Ireland).
- Have experience of working in a swimming centre or similar environment, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality swimming programmes.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with centre teams, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Have a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices, with the ability to provide high-quality customer service to our members and customers.
- Have a strong understanding of swimming programme delivery and management, with the ability to oversee and impact lesson delivery and quality.
