We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Health and Safety: Role model health and safety best practices and monitor those around you to ensure they follow the example you set.
- Equipment Expertise: Work in a hands-on manner and demonstrate SME levels of knowledge on all MHE in the building.
- Technical Support: Coach and mentor technicians on shift, provide high levels of equipment availability to internal customers, and troubleshoot and prioritize equipment issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Support the continuous improvement of systems in a standard manner across the EU network.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain good working relationships across all levels in the organization.
- Contractor Management: Manage contractors and ensure they follow Amazon's standards and procedures.
- Equipment Performance: Understand and manage OEE and equipment performance metrics.
- Inventory Management: Manage critical spare parts inventory using EAM systems.
- Planned Maintenance: Coordinate and execute planned preventative maintenance on MHE equipment within the site.
- Qualifications: Served a full Engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject.
- Experience: Multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines with relevant experience in automation or complex MHE environments.
- Skills: Solid foundational knowledge of PLC based controls systems, experience using CMMS to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks, and knowledge of Statutory Compliance requirements.
- Language: Ability to communicate (written and verbal) in English and the local language at CEFR Level B2 or higher.
- Leadership: Proven ability to supervise and influence others on the team.
- Multi-tasking: Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize many different projects and workload.
- Contractor Management: Experience of multi-contractor management.
- Multi-site Experience: Experience in a multi-site environment.
- Fault Finding: Experience in fault finding on building equipment such as HVAC, Dock Doors, plumbing, and general building maintenance tasks.
