Corporate Tax Finance Business Partner

Venn Group is working with a renowned broadcasting corporation to recruit for a Corporate Tax Finance Business Partner on a 6-8 months interim contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice on corporate tax issues affecting the commercial business.
  • Support with HMRC enquiries and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Review and authorise corporate tax returns, ensuring global tax compliance.
  • Provide updates and recommendations on new legislation relevant to corporate tax management.
  • Contribute to wider initiatives, including Senior Accounting Officer requirements.
  • Represent the organisation with external agencies in corporate tax matters.
  • Provide proactive and pragmatic direct tax input on new initiatives and business plans.
  • Collaborate with the finance community to promote and share best practice.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Professional accounting and/or tax qualification (ACA, CTA or equivalent).
  • Experience working with cross-border organisations and managing global tax risks.
  • Understanding of processes and controls required in a global organisation for tax management.
  • Experience of UK corporate tax compliance and group tax reporting under IFRS, FRS101 and FRS 102.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify improvements to processes and controls.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
