About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Public Affairs Officer to join our policy and public affairs team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in helping us develop relationships with key influencers in Westminster and build support for our advocacy priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head of Public Affairs in developing and implementing our policy and public affairs strategy
  • Build and maintain relationships with key politicians, civil servants, and stakeholders
  • Communicate our policy priorities and advocacy work to key audiences
  • Work with our policy, campaigning, and communications teams to develop and implement effective advocacy campaigns
  • Provide policy and public affairs advice to our senior leadership team
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of the legislative process and parliamentary procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience of working with politicians and civil servants
  • A proven track record of developing and implementing effective advocacy campaigns
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
