Role Overview

OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION

You will be accountable for the strategic planning and preparation of financial statements for a designated portfolio of funds, ensuring compliance with reporting deadlines and client accounting requirements in alignment with Ocorian's contractual commitments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of all entities within the fund structure, including the nature of their transactions and reporting obligations.

• Establish and maintain processes to guarantee the timely delivery of client accounting requirements related to financial reports and accounts for all entities within the assigned portfolio.

• Ensure adherence to current accounting standards (UK GAAP, IFRS, or US GAAP) and best practice principles throughout the accounts production process, keeping abreast of any developments in these standards.

• Develop reporting protocols for new funds and other entities based on fund documentation and client reporting specifications.

• Provide guidance and support to the administration team to ensure that bookkeeping related to transactions is executed accurately and promptly.

• Calculate Net Asset Values in accordance with the specific requirements of each fund.

• Collaborate with clients and other professional advisors to establish timelines for the production of accounts.

• Participate in board meetings and other client discussions to present financial statements and address accounting-related topics.

• Coordinate with auditors to ensure the timely completion of audits for funds and related entities.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory reporting requirements.

• Uphold Ocorian's policies and procedures within the accounts team and contribute to their ongoing development.

• Attend client meetings, either in place of or alongside the Senior Manager, to provide advice on administrative matters and ensure that board requests are adequately addressed.

• Perform any additional duties as reasonably required for this role.
